SLOMA Exhibition
From now through February 28th, SLOMA is presenting “Grease, Water, and Stone: An Oceanworks Retrospective.” It is an exhibtition of lithographs printed at Oceanworks Litho Shop in Newport Beach, CA. from 1979-1984. The show features prints from the collection of Steve Andrews, who was a partner and co-founder of the shop. Steve organized this exhibit with the help of his family and the staff from the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art. Also featured is an Artist Panel Discussion hosted by Erica Ellis. The three participants are the shop director Steve Andrews and the two Tamarind Printers— Jeff Sippel and Conrad Schwable, who worked with the artists (such as Raul Anguiano, below) who created these prints.
